What has been your favourite programme of the year?
My favourite TV programme of the year was United about the 1958 Munich air disaster. It was tucked away in the schedules but was a) very moving and b) featured up-and-coming soon to be star Sam Claflin who I knew a little bit when I was growing up in the wilds of Norfolk.
What will you definitely be sitting down to watch at Christmas?
I'm looking forward to the Rev Christmas special. It's written by Sam Bain of Peep Show and Fresh Meat fame and, on the strength of the second series, should be a cracker.
If you could give some festive advice to people wanting to get on in TV what would it be?
Since I'm really envious of anyone working in TV, I'll just go with don't take things for granted and don't be a jerk.
