Favourite TV Programme of the Year

‘Game of Thrones’ - Ok, so the blowjob scenes sounded hilariously like a kid draining a carton of Five Alive. Sure, the show was so obsessed with sex that Aidan Gillen’s character backstory was delicately accentuated by the screams of two finger banging wenches. But when the plot (eventually) started moving, it went like a bullet train.

What I’ll Definitely Be Watching the Christmas

‘Little Crackers’ - Who’d have thought it? Xmas TV minus the fusty waft of mothballs that hangs over most festive programming. Just shows what you can achieve when you give free creative licence to a roster of inventive comic talent. And Alan Davies. Still, no doubting he knows a thing or two about telling a tale. I hear that given half a chance he’ll bite your ear off (sorry…).

Advice for people working in TV

A puntastic title does not a decent show make. Oh, and if you ever get the opportunity to commission “Breaking Bad”, do it immediately.
