The Edinburgh International Television Festival speed meetings are back for 2016, bigger and better than ever.

The networking event has been extended across the entire three days of the Festival meaning there is even more opportunity to meet new people.

Delegates can sit down with top commissioners, senior talent managers, distributors, media lawyers, trade associations and more, for short pre-booked meetings. You can introduce yourself or your company; pitch an idea for a new show; further your job prospects or just make a new contact that allows you to put a face to a name.

Commissioners involved span the entire TV industry, you can see a comprehensive list of all commissioners here, but to name just three:

  • Greg Barnett, Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment, Channel 5
  • David Brindley, Commissioning Editor, Documentaries, Channel 4
  • Charlie Hampton, Commissioning Editor, Drama, ITV

Also available for speed dates will be numerous talent managers from various departments of the BBC, ITV Entertainment, Blast! Films, Nutopia and many more.

Plus you can book in to see Pact’s Director of International Development, Dawn McCarthy-Simpson to get info on growing your business overseas and media lawyer Sarah Lazarides for advice on legal issues across the entertainment industries.

There’s still time to host a meeting table or to book in to see those that have.
