RTS Futures has teamed up with the creators of Avalon’s hit UKTV comedy game show, Taskmaster, to offer the ultimate masterclass in bringing ideas to TV.
The event takes place on Wednesday 8th November at the London Transport Museum and will be a fantastic opportunity to get an insight into how ideas are developed and commissioned. Sharing what it takes to go from initial concept to fully fledged, successful commission will be Alex Horne (Presenter and Comedian), Andy Cartwright (Series Prodcuer), Andy Devonshire (Series Director) and Hilary Rosen (Deputy Director of Commisioning, UKTV).
The panel will be revealing how Taskmaster went from an original idea Alex had during the Edinburgh Fringe to becoming one of the UK's most loved game shows, currently five series in, BAFTA and Emmy award nominated and now due to hit international audiences with its first US series currently in production. You'll also have the chance to take part in a hilarious live Taskmaster challenge presented by Alex himself.
