We are looking for:

An ambitious Sales Executive with past sales experience, some formal sales training and a proven track record in exceeding targets.

Who we are:

The Talent Manager is a leading online recruitment platform for the UK’s TV and Film sector. We provide broadcasters and production companies with a talent database to track freelancers and manage current vacancies, and give TV and Film makers the space to showcase their work and connect with other industry professionals. We’re now launching a mobile app and branching out into other sectors and countries.

Our small team is based in Shoreditch, London, where we share office space with our sister companies The Kit Room (Camera Rental) and DV Talent (TV Training).

  • Convert existing client leads (we are a freemium service)
  • Generate and source new leads
  • Manage new and exciting clients to grow, up-sell and renew accounts
  • Build up strong, in-depth product knowledge to educate clients on the features and benefits of our service
  • Work with senior management to review and create new pricing structures
  • Represent the company at new business meetings, events and trade shows 
  • Build partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with relevant organisations 
  • Work collaboratively with other team members in line with company objectives (e.g editorial, sales, technical and legal)
  • Actively carry out research to scope target industries/clients 
  • Provide feedback to managers and wider business on product fit and recommendations


Experience & Skills:

  •  Strong negotiating and influencing skills with clients at all levels
  • Passion for selling and achieving targets
  • Confident and professional telephone manner, with the ability to build rapport
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A self starter with the ability to prioritise work under pressure
  • Ability to build up and maintain a customer database / CRM system
  • Have an interest in the media industry (And be an avid TV Viewer)
  •  Experience in using Salesforce or similar and the Microsoft office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  •  Have a proven track record in client relationship management and B2B new business sales
