I’m a creative, committed shooting director who puts his own stamp on documentaries.

I am experienced at crafting original, high-end single films and limited series for both terrestrial and SVOD channels, as well as directing and cutting on leading observational documentary series. Whatever the project, I pride myself on opening up hidden corners of society, building lasting relationships with great documentary characters and telling their stories imaginatively. I shoot creatively to a high standard on a range of cameras, allowing me to bring each scene to life. I’ve got a lot of experience in the edit: structuring complicated and unique films, telling present and past tense stories to their fullest and working with archive. I come with a background in current affairs, as well as a proven track record of negotiating tricky access, directing talent and bringing fresh creative ideas to projects in order to make films of the highest quality.
