I am an award winning Producer/Director/Camera op with over 15 years experience. I’ve worked for a variety of broadcasters – BBC, ITV, SKY – across different genres – factual, documentary, childrens’, consumer and current affairs. I shoot to a high standard and I’m very strong at observational filming. I’m adept at building a good rapport quickly with contributors and at capturing real life events as they unfold, and at shaping compelling narratives. I’m also experienced at working in sensitive situations – hospitals, funeral homes, Traveller communities - and at building the trust needed to tell peoples stories. My five years spent with the BBC’s Current Affairs department has also helped me develop a good legal & editorial and journalistic nose as well as an instinct for asking the right questions to interrogate a story. I’ve made presenter led films, directed crews and had experience working with craft editors on 5/15/30/60 minute films. I’m passionate about enabling people to tell their stories and always try to do so in a visually compelling way.

I’m based in Manchester but can also base myself in London for short stints. I have my own kit – FX6, prime & zoom lenses and lighting & sound kit… and a good contact list of amazing crew whenever needed!
