Hello, I’m a very experienced Edit Producer having worked on the first series of Andi Oliver's Fabulous Feasts, second series of Aldi's Next Big Thing, Marcus Wareing's Tales from A Kitchen Garden (BBC2), Celebrity MasterChef (BBC1), MasterChef: The Professionals (BBC1), Eat Well For Less (BBC1), DIY SOS (BBC1), Food Unwrapped (Channel 4), Inside The Factory (BBC1), Animal Park (BBC2), Alan Titchmarsh - Love Your Garden (ITV 8pm) and many more. For the last five years I have regularly directed Location Location Location for Channel 4, as well as many of the above series. I also regularly oversee onlines and final mixes. I have been running edits for more than 10 years now, and I’ve ran three edits simultaneously in the past. I’ve also cut other producer’s ob doc footage as well as multi cam rushes. As a former feature writer I can identify stories quickly and structure programmes with ease. I can turn my hand to all styles of voice over, I can spot a great soundbite and plough through interviews and hours of footage efficiently and quickly. I’m adept at spotting what elements are missing and feeding that back to the PD on location or can fill in the gaps with clever commentary if filming has finished. I have extensive location experience and am as comfortable directing multi-cam shoots with jibs and steadicams, as I am hand-held single cameras or self shooters. I have bundles of experience working with presenters too. I’m able to lead small teams of assistant producers, researchers and runners, and regularly work closely with them to help build their skillset and confidence. I have also been responsible for 50 plus people on location in the past. I can turn my hand to established, long-running, fast turnaround series as well as high end drama. I have extensive experience filming actuality as it unfolds. While working on Dr Who Confidential I was on set of Dr Who for the entire series filming behind the scenes in a reality style. I had to follow the action of the scene as it happened and I only had one chance to capture it all naturally.  I had to think on my feet extensively and constantly react to what was happening on set and make decisions about which story to follow. It was quite typical to be following a few stories at once. I have been involved in many series where the production company wanted to revamp the look and feel of the show, so am very comfortable helping to establish new series. I have been involved at this level on shows such as Dickinson’s Real Deal and Bargain Hunt. I have also been brought in to work on brand new series where everything was yet to be established this includes shows such as Art School (BBC2) and Fool Around (T4/Channel 4).
