Bafta winning series producer/director and director with strong shooting and storytelling skills. I have made observational, authored and presenter led films for the BBC and Channel 4, which usually have a journalistic grounding. Most have focused on very sensitive subject matter. My latest series, The Yorkshire Ripper Files, used interview and archive to reassess the investigation into the crimes of Peter Sutcliffe, and what impact attitudes to women had.I shoot using prime lenses and am adept at capturing actuality that gives my films a sense of intimacy. As well as being very experienced with sensitive subject matter, I am also a fully trained journalist with solid legal knowledge and a well tested understanding of how to resolve compliance issues.
