What have I been up to recently? Some highlights:
- LOCATION FIXER - for Irish Production Company Room to Improve when shooting in London.
- SENIOR PRODUCER - on GLASTONBURY 2023.
- SENIOR PRODUCER - on MTV's / PARAMOUNT+ Geordie Shore Family Vacation Shooting out in Cyprus.
- SENIOR PRODUCER - on ITV's TOWIE - Covering a range of responsibilities, inc cast welfare, shooting day to day and storylines amongst others.
- SERIES PRODUCER - On returning BBC series 'BEAUTY QUEEN AND SINGLE' where we take image conscious beauty queens, and send them on blind dates without a scrap of make-up on. Can they learn to love themselves as well as finding the match of their dreams? My second run Series Producing with Sony Pictures Television backed indie – Stellify Media. TX - Dec 2022 - BBC Three.
- SENIOR PRODUCER - on C4's Make Me a Prime Minister - Casting a difficult cast whilst helping plug any holes in episodes to help get this exciting new series get over the line and shoot ready.
- FIELD PRODUCER - on the nation's favourite - Channel 4's Gogglebox, including Celebrity Gogglebox: Black to Front; Celebrity Gogglebox: Stand up to Cancer out on the road across the UK shooting with a wide range of families from all walks of life - injecting humour and working with the cast to get out the very best we can, in covid safe conditions on the road. I also shot the Gogglebox contribution to the 4Creative All Together Different Ad Campaign, currently live across the UK.
- SERIES PRODUCER - On the first helping of the BBC culinary competition - “Farm to Feast: Best Menu Wins”, where 7 amateur home cooks battle it out to become this year's champion. Shooting in a castle in rural N.I. with a full crew of 40 across multiple depts and working with the execs and commissioner on fine tuning the format, and getting my teeth fully into shaping the first series. I was in charge of all pre-production, inc. running orders, scripting, look and feel of the series and production in our large set, plus all VTs over covid and producing our talent on the ground, inc. our presenter Eamonn Holmes OBE; All this, whilst delivering to an incredibly tight budget - we really did achieve a huge amount. Really love crafting a new format to help reach its potential as a first series to make its mark and create its identity. It was the highest rated show in its Saturday slot (bar one week where Wimbledon beat us) since it started to TX, UK wide.
- PRODUCER on brand new BBC show - BARBERSHOP FOR BALD MEN - Casting and pre-production, Self Shooting FS7 + Producing. COVID safety, pick ups and delivery. A one off BBC show all about male hair loss, finding a few stand out guys who would be willing to go on TV and not only share their very personal hair loss story to the world, but also going through our hair replacement system where we shave what little hair they had left, and attach a new hair piece to see if they become their former confident selves. Most importantly of all though, it’s about giving them back their choice - to either embrace the bald, or turn back the clock to their dream hair from the past, the choice is theirs.
- LINE PRODUCER - I've also been working out in Denmark, for a UK production company; producing a branded content film for international architectural giant SWECO.
- EDIT AND UK SHOOT PRODUCER - Producing celebrities and presenters on the much loved cult classic Takeshi's Castle Indonesia for Comedy Central. Working on 4 series, on a revised format for UK and International versions, had great fun being in the studio producing or in the edit, trying to make some sense of the madness!
- CO-PRODUCER at The Wellcome Trust for BBC Tomorrow's World, making short form science docs on multiple strands. Working to 3 directors for 12 films, responsible for Production & Delivery as well as Prep, Casting, Locations, Editorial content, prod. scheduling, shoot scheduling, liaising with edits and execs, compliance & legal issues, BBC post paperwork & clearances, looking after £150K Budget, call sheets, Shooting 1st and 2nd cam, RAs, VO, Editorial input, negotiating talent, sourcing experts, contributors, fact checkers, scientific advisors etc.
- I also come with development experience - dreaming up ideas at places like Monkey Kingdom and Sky Vision, involving shooting PMW-200, working with high profile talent, cutting together taster tapes and working on heavy research into feasibility for an exciting potential commissions in the works.
- I also plucked up the courage and pitched my own show idea on my own under my own label to Channel 4 in 2020, which ended up going up to Katz for consideration. I'm very ambitious and constantly developing my own ideas inbetween jobs; I love working out on location to improve on my skills and hopefully make me a much more well rounded producer.
- A confident self shooter on SONY FS7, FS5, C300, C100, XF305, XF105, EX3, PMW-200, 5D and 7D shooting interviews, voxes, sequences, undercover and 1st and 2nd Camera for broadcast.
