Producer & Writer, having worked primarily in broadcast TV since 2008.
I've worked
across most genres, including animation & stop motion, comedy, hidden camera, children’s, magic, entertainment, factual entertainment, formatted factual and corporate content, in
development,
production and in the
edit.
I also have a good deal of experience (and bags of creativity!) when it come to
devising, testing and producing tasks, challenges, stunts etc. I've devised and produced all sorts of stuff including studio panel show games, comedy "Task Master" type tasks, physical/endurance challenges, kid's experiments and epic magic tricks.
I’m
full of ideas, great with format and a very solid writer, having attained an
MA Screenwriting with Merit from UAL in 2021, and frequently writing everything from snappy
one-pagers to full broadcast
scripts and hours of
VO over the course of my work to date, not to mention more
pitch decks than I can remember. I have a real talent for voice and tone, journalistic sensibilities, and I can write funny too.
I offer a
very broad skillset, both creatively and practically speaking, including but not limited to shooting and cutting for sizzles; producing run-throughs, challenges and games; casting contributors and experts; working with talent; sourcing and scouting locations and preparing a range of pitch and presentation documents in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Premier and much more.
I'm practical and adaptable, a real team player with a hands-on approach to my work, able to foresee and plan for problems, through logical and lateral thinking and years of experience on the job.
I'm particularly interested in any
opportunities in drama/scripted factual or fun opportunities in entertainment, in line with my experience to date, which would see me get back to the buzz of program making after some time spent working at a more strategic level.
I've deliberately tried to keep this brief, but I'd be happy to provide more info or answer any questions you may have.
