I am an Executive Producer, Development Executive and Series Producer with credits on Channel 4, BBC1, Al Jazeera English, ITV1&2 and PBS. As both a Commissioner at Al Jazeera English and a Development Executive I work with teams to identify and devise compelling and original films and series, secure funded development, devise the series pitching brief and bible, assess the best treatments and oversee those commissions from conception to the delivery of ground-breaking and award winning programmes. I have extensive experience of documentary, ob doc, specialist factual, current affairs, investigations and arts programming. Skills include: leading & inspiring teams, liaising with legal, creative and PR depts, negotiating access, overseeing multiple programmes at once from different companies, running multiple edits, writing scripts and VO – but mostly thinking up big, challenging, noisy ideas and seeing them to air.
