I absolutely love creating engaging and visually innovative content. The varied range of skills I’ve developed across live-action, animation and visual effects means I can tailor what I hope is the best fit for each project. I’m just as happy being a director or animation director/producer, as I am creating visual effects or motion graphics.
My first love was in comedy and I was the co-creator/writer/director of the BAFTA award winning shows 'Fonejacker' and 'Facejacker' (Channel 4). My focus then shifted more towards animation and visual effects production. Notable projects include producing/directing the animated sitcom 'Sticky' (BBC Three) which starred Tom Hardy and Kayvan Novak. I produced and directed a documentary short animated film in collaboration for the street artist Banksy. I wrote, produced and directed two series for BBC Education, one for GCSE ‘Computer Science’ and a public information series on financial helping the young. My visual effects work creating/producing the title sequence for 'Murder In Successville' (BBC Three) was BAFTA nominated.
I still direct and edit live action content. My most recent directing credit won an RTS for 'best factual' on the BBC Three factual entertainment show 'What Makes You Tic?'. My work on 'Fonejacker' and 'Facejacker' won me a silly amount of awards including a BAFTA for best comedy, and two RTS for Editing and Design.
When creating animation, visual effects and motion graphics I usually work from a home studio in north London. If my role is producer then the size of the team I work with expands and contracts according to the project. I am very experienced at working remotely, running a team of artists and collaborators over the web. Sound mixers and sound designers, animators and designers, voice over artists and performers, we are all well practiced at getting the job done from home studios and connecting online. Read Less
