For this, I dealt with script edits, talent, aided rehearsals, scouted suitable locations, applied for licences and dealt with councils.I also recently produced a series of children's films for Penguin Random House at Somethin' Else. This has included being Producer/Director on two shoots. I was previously Freelance Producer at The Times and Sunday Times, overseeing all video output. I was previously an Assistant Producer at Somethin' Else, a content agency for broadcasters and brands. Here, I built up experience in editorial, pre-production, working on shoots and contributing to narrative storytelling in the edit process. This has built upon my experience at BBH, where I liaised with production houses, music companies and agents. I have also created budget estimates and raised purchase orders, helping to keep projects on time and on budget. I am especially interested in broadcast and film opportunities.I am also a theatre professional, working nationally and internationally. I have worked as a Theatre Director and Resident/Assistant Director, in the West End, working on a wide range of work from political plays to light hearted musicals. At the heart of this work was a desire to tell engaging stories, vivid and visual in their presentation. Having studied theatre, film and television, I have always been interested in the crossover between the platforms. This work in theatre has built up strong collaboration skills, with tasks including leading and assisting creative visions, working with actors and production teams and utilising a proactive attitude to tackle unexpected issues head on. I also have built up experience in arts administration, scheduling, producing and casting. My strong people and facilitation skills place me in a strong position to work in any creative, high-pressured environment. As a child, I worked for Children's BBC for four years as an actor and presenter on their flagship show 'Stitch Up!'. This placed me in a television environment from a young age, working in a studio environment and on location.
