Recently I have been approached mostly to work as an Edit Producer, using my range of experience to hone programmes in the edit suite, although I have also recently produced and directed on location.My career began as an award winning Promotions Producer making network broadcast trails. Expanding my skills, I became an accomplished producer director working with high profile talent on wide ranging series across the UK before taking on more managerial roles as an Exec Producer (Two Four) and Head of Features (ITV Westcountry).I took a five year break from TV to study and broaden my experience, during which I obtained a PGCE, lectured at University in Moving Image, and taught TV Production at college. I also developed filming and editing skills, shooting on DSLR and editing on FCP and Premiere (I already had experience on AVID).On my return I have once again Produced and Directed on location, but mainly concentrated on the edit suite, combining skills gained in the course of my career; my eye for detail and ear for music as a trailer maker, to my understanding of filming logistics as a director, the art of storytelling as a producer, and the appreciation of ‘the big picture’ as an Exec.
