I've been cutting documentary film and television for 15 years, crafting exceptional stories for some of the UK's most talented film makers. Recent feature documentary credits include 'Rebel Sister' (Tribeca 2024) with Passion Pictures for Universal, 'Never Look Away' (Sundance / SXSW / HotDocs 2024) and the Apple TV hit film adaptation 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***'.

I've also cut countless long form docs and factual shows for UK and international broadcasters, including Netflix, BBC, Vice, Channel 4, Discovery, Nat Geo and Al Jazeera.

This long-form work gets me involved very early in the scripting process and I have a solid instinct for the essential story, how it should expand, develop and resolve. Most of my work requires great attention to tension and pacing - I am equally absorbed in crafting a slowly unfolding observation, a dramatic action scene or a lightning fast montage. I take a keen interest in how to drive and colour stories with music and dive deeply into sound design to bring early versions of an edit fully alive. 

As an option I operate a fully spec'd remote and mobile Avid rig with plenty of storage. 

I have a background in biological sciences, gaining a BSc in Botany and am an experienced recording musician. Read Less
