I am originally from Edinburgh and looking for work as a researcher or in production roles for factual TV or docs.I have just completed the BECTU TV Researcher Training course (March 2021) and previously did the Hit The Ground Running 2 day Runner Training Course in Scotland with BECTU, Film Edinburgh & Screen Education Edinburgh (Jan 2019).I'm available for remote research roles immediately.I have a degree in Film, Television & Digital Production from Royal Holloway University of London, with a focus on documentary. After graduating (2017), I got a place on the Ji.Hlava Documentary Festival Academy (2017), and then got a Diploma in Directing Documentary from Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV (The International School of Film & TV) in Cuba (2018). I worked as an intern doing research for Unreported World (Quicksilver Media for Channel 4, 2018), and was selected for the European Social Documentary (EsoDoc) Training (by Zelig Film School and EU Creative Media) in Norway and Italy (2018).Most recently I've been working in communications (Press/Media department at the European Parliament, and in Video/Articles/Press/Marketing at a United Nations agency in Rome), and journalism (The Independent, Politico).
