Read MoreI’ve worked for close to 20 years in broadcasting, print journalism, and online journalism, and am a qualified and time served writer and researcher. My whole career has been spent seeking out original stories and new angles, then finding engaging ways to introduce an audience to them. Following a move into broadcasting in 2017, I have worked as a researcher, assistant producer, producer/director and development producer in many different types of programming, including: DOCUMENTARY, FACTUAL ENTERTAINMENT, EDUCATIONAL, CHILDREN’S, ARTS and ONLINE CONTENT.
My research work on documentary programmes has contributed to multiple award nominations - including from RTS North West, the Learning On Screen Awards, and the BBC - as well as a win in the Best Entertainment category at the annual O2 Media Awards. My experience spans everything from one-off documentaries to online youth content and huge returning series Hunted. I have helped to develop documentaries, game shows, drama, as well as podcasts in a number of fields. I am happy conceiving and creating content on my own, or as part of a large production team.
